If I had to describe my week in the north island of Tromso, I would call it “a walk on the moon”. Despite the short amount of light that this country gets in mid January (just about 4 hours), its beauty is capable of showing up among the darkest months. Mountain ridges, fjords, snow-capped peaks, glaziers, valleys, lakes… all of them coming together with the ethereal light, painting the sky in soft, delicate hues.
